You have a lot of very nice cards here. Do you have a catalog you could send me?
We do have a catalog we can send you, however it is limited in that it only contains about 100 "favorites" while our site has well over 1000 choices. We would be happy to send you one, but by clicking on any of the thumbnails here on our site you get a rather large image which is actually larger than the images you would see in our catalog. If you can take the time to look though the categories of interest to you, you can save those that interest you in your own "Favorites" folder (link under each large image) and requst samples of the actual cards by using our "Sample Request Form" (link also under each large image). If you just want a catalog, you can request it through our "Catalog Request Form" link on the left.
What about samples. Can I get a sample of a particular card?
While we are strictly an online catalog and store, we can (upon request) send you FREE samples of greeting cards displayed on the site. Please limit your requests to three as this is a free service - so we can keep that privilege. Please use our online form found on the right side panel. (Links to save samples are found under each large image,) These are shipped first class mail unless you want to provide your company FedEx or UPS number, we can send them overnight.
We would like to include our company logo in our cards. Is that possible?
Absolutely. All of our cards can have a logo added. They must be high quality in order to print well (preferably 600 dpi). Acceptable formats include: .tif, .eps, .psd, .jpg and .bmp. We will size the logo appropriately and send you a .pdf file or fax a proof to you before submitting. This is a free service by Design Crafters. The additional charge (by the manufacturer) to have a logo added to your card is $50. We will set this all up for you for free as a service we provide. Unless otherwise specified, the verse, personalization and/or logo will all be printed in the same color. If your logo is two colors, there will be additonal charges that are explained below.
What if our logo is two colors?
Well, that's a possibility and we do it often, it's just a bit more complicated and definately more pricey, so it's something you must consider and decide if it's worth the extra bucks. This is how it works. First of all you would need call us on this one as we are not set-up on line to handle these orders. A second color run is an additional $50 (on top of the normal $50 for a single color logo) for the first 1000 cards. After that, it's an additional $3/100 cards. If there is tight registration (1/16" or less between colors, there is an additional $30 because of a special set-up and results in additional waste. If your logo requires a PMS color that is different than one of our standard colors, there is an additional $50 fee because it requires additional mixing of colors and washup of equipment.
What if I want to compose my own verse?
No problem. There is a place on the order form where you can choose "Create a custom verse" as your verse selection. Then there is a box below there where you can enter the text of your custom verse and you can select your choice of font as well. There is a $25 charge for Custom verses as the printer has to create a special plate with the image of your verse. If you are also having us print a logo or signatures for you, there is no extra charge for the custom verse since a plate has to be made anyway with the other artwork. We submit your order as one piece of artwork. We will follow up with a .pdf proof which we will email you for your approval before printing. At that time we can make any changes necessary until it pleases you. This is a free service by Design Crafters, to layout your custom verse for you.
What are my options for payment?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, personal checks & money orders.
If you'd rather not order online, you can still e-mail or fax in your order 703-758-7624 (24 hours/day, 7 days/week) or simply call us at 1-800-214-8990 (Mon. - Fri. 9 -5 ET) and we can process your order over the phone. If you are ordering online but paying by personal check or MO it would be a good idea to also print out your order and send it with your check.
How long will it take for me to get my cards once I've ordered?
It depends partially on where you live. Unless otherwise requested, all our shipments are sent UPS ground. All cards ship from the manufacturer within 3-5 business days of receipt of your order (except cards requiring special artwork, like a custom verse or logo - they take 5-7 days in house before shipping). The shipping time itself will will range from 1-6 days depending on your location and your shipping method of choice. These cards are processed and will be shipped from 5 different locations. You are notified at checkout from where your cards will be shipped so you can calculate your cost before ordering to determine the best method of shipping to fit your needs.
What can I expect to pay for shipping?
We charge only what we expect the actual shipping charges are going to be for us, plus a small handling fee which is passed on to us by the manufacturer. We are directly connected with the UPS database system so our rates are very accurate. You can tell exactly what your cost will be as you fill out the order form. You will have a choice of shipping method and be shown a price for each so you can choose the best method for your needs.
What if I live outside the Continental US. Does the above apply to me as well?
We can ship to US territories and to APO address, but we do not ship internationally, sorry.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Only if you live in the state of Virginia.
What kind of envelopes come with these cards?
Most of our cards come with gold foil-lined envelopes unless silver would be more appropriate. The "Deckle Edge" cards come with matching deckle edge envelopes that match the card. It is indicated in the description below each card, what type of envelope is included.
